Ahead of Sunday's 2019-20 AFC Championship Game against the high-powered Kansas City Chiefs, the Tennessee Titans need all hands on deck on the defensive side of the ball.

Their linebacking corps should see a nice boost for this game, with starting inside linebacker Jayon Brown reportedly active for Sunday's matchup, with a trip to Super Bowl LIV on the line.

Brown has been dealing with a shoulder injury that he had suffered in the Titans' Wild Card matchup against the New England Patriots. It had bothered him enough last week still, keeping him sidelined in Tennessee's win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Having Brown back in the lineup helps the Titans in a multitude of areas. Over the entire season, Pro Football Focus had Brown graded as Tennessee's best linebacker. He is a talented tackler, totaling 104 on the season (68 solo tackles). He also grades out at a 68 when both defending the run and dropping into coverage.

The Titans will need the entire defense to play well this week, facing off against a Chiefs offense that put up 51 points against the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round last week. The Titans were able to beat the Chiefs earlier in the season without Brown in the lineup, 35-32, so his presence on the field this week should give them even more confidence to pull off a third straight playoff upset.
