Jaylen Waddle fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief, as it looks like the Miami Dolphins wide receiver is going to play on Thursday.
Jaylen Waddle Fantasy Outlook
This is terrific news for Waddle's fantasy managers, as he's been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL this year. The second-year wideout ranks second in receiving yards (342) and receiving touchdowns (3) while averaging the most yards per touch (17.1) in the league. He also has some momentum coming into this matchup after exceeding 100 receiving yards in each of his last two games.
Waddle's fantasy managers also have to be excited that Tua Tagovailoa is expected to play as well. Waddle and Tagovailoa have shown remarkable chemistry since the former debuted last season, which isn't surprising considering that they were teammates at Alabama together.
With Tagovailoa under center and LT Terron Armstead helping keep the pocket clean for him, Waddle could be in for another big fantasy performance. Thursday's primetime matchup features the second-highest projected point total (48.5) on the Week 4 slate, per FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds. That means we should see plenty of points (both real-life and fantasy) from these two high-powered offenses.
As the No. 9 wide receiver on The Duel's rest-of-season fantasy rankings, Waddle is a must-start as long as he's active.
