James Morgan NFL Draft Expert Predictions
The 2020 NFL Draft class brings us a loaded crop of quarterbacks, with FIU's James Morgan trending up in recent weeks. Morgan projects to land in the later rounds, but there's still likely to be quite a few teams competing for his services.
With that in mind, let's take a look at some expert predictions for Morgan's landing spot in the 2020 NFL Draft.
James Morgan Draft Projection 2020
Matt Miller, of Bleacher Report, has Morgan going to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 189 overall pick in the sixth round.
Ryan Wilson, of CBS Sports, has the Indianapolis Colts taking Morgan well ahead of Miller's prediction with the No. 160 overall selection in the fifth round.
Similar to Miller, Luke Easterling, of USA Today's Draftwire, also predicts Morgan to land with the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, he expects the Jags to pull the trigger on Morgan a little sooner with the No. 170 overall pick in the fifth round.
Walter Cherepinsky, of Walter Football, has the most confidence in Morgan thus far, projecting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers draft him with the No. 117 overall pick in fourth round.
James Morgan NFL Draft Prediction
- Buccaneers (No. 117)
- Colts (No. 160)
- Jaguars (No. 170)
- Jaguars (No. 189)
While there is no consensus around the same pick among the four experts highlighted above, two of them believe the Jaguars will call his name. It also looks like Morgan's draft range is somewhere between the early fourth round to the early sixth round.
