James Harden Odds: Prop Bets Project Huge Scoring Night Against Spurs

James Harden and the Brooklyn Nets will look to bounce back on Monday night against the San Antonio Spurs. Brooklyn suffered a rare loss in the previous game against the Dallas Mavericks, but they had won a whopping eight straight games prior to that defeat.

Harden is on a roll, especially of late with Kevin Durant sidelined, and it's no surprise that the over/under for his points total against the Spurs projects a big scoring night.

Harden's points total for Monday's contest sits at 28.5 points, per player prop bets from FanDuel Sportsbook. There's -106 odds on the over and -116 on the under.

Needing 29 points to hit the over is no easy task. On the season, Harden is averaging just 25.0 points per game, scoring 29-plus points in 11 of his 29 appearances so far.

However, the nine-time All-Star has the hot hand of late, picking up the slack with Durant out. He's scored 29 or more points in five of his last seven contests, including explosions of 37 and 38 points during that timeframe.

Given his recent play, Durant's continued absence and the fact that Orlando's defense is in the middle of the pack for opponent points per game (111.6), Harden is in solid position to eclipse the over in this one.
