James Harden Injury Update for Knicks vs Nets on Monday, 4/5/2021

James Harden missed the Brooklyn Nets’ past two games due to a hamstring injury, but he has been removed from the injury report before Monday’s game against the New York Knicks. That means he should be back in the lineup, but that doesn’t mean that the team won’t be shorthanded.
Kevin Durant remains out due to a hamstring injury, while Landry Shamet, Tyler Johnson, and Blake Griffin have also been ruled out for Monday night.
Status Report for tonight’s game vs. New York, per team.

Durant (left hamstring strain) - OUT
Griffin (left knee - injury management) - OUT
Tyler Johnson (right knee soreness) - OUT
Shamet (right ankle sprain) - OUT
As long as Harden isn’t limited, he should be looking at an expanded workload against the Knicks.
He’s increased his usage rate by 2.3 percentage points in games without Durant this season, and he’s averaged 1.51 FanDuel points per minute over the past month.
Kyrie Irving has also increased his usage rate by 2.0 percentage points in games without Durant, and he’s averaged 1.30 FanDuel points per minute in that situation. That said, the Knicks are a brutal matchup from a fantasy perspective, ranking fourth in defensive efficiency and dead-last in pace.
The Nets are currently listed as 5.5-point favorites over the Knicks on FanDuel Sportsbook.
