James Conner Fantasy Outlook Soars After Dominating Touches in Week 2
By Max Staley

James Conner's fantasy managers were likely pretty worried after Week 1. The Pittsburgh Steelers' lead back recorded just 17 yards from scrimmage on 8 touches, playing just 15 snaps before leaving with an injury. That opened the door for his backup, Benny Snell Jr., to put up 113 rushing yards on 19 carries.
Though there was some concern that Snell might've earned an expanded role, Conner appears to have solidified his status atop Pittsburgh's depth chart thanks to a stellar Week 2 performance.

James Conner Fantasy Outlook
Conner was fantastic on Sunday, turning 16 carries into 106 rushing yards and a touchdown. He added another 15 receiving yards on 2 catches. Conner did that while playing 77 percent of the snaps, compared to just 41 percent for Snell.
While it doesn't seem like Snell is going away any time soon, Conner is clearly the Steelers' No. 1 running back. That role is really valuable in Pittsburgh, as the return of Ben Roethlisberger has helped this offense get back on track.
Conner is going to be a high-end RB2 the rest of the way, assuming the Steelers' bell cow can stay healthy.
He checks in at RB13 in our Week 3 fantasy football rankings.
