The New York Giants had a secondary in 2019 that nearly all of us could have completed passes against. Improving the defense as a whole was a point of emphasis for the organization for this season. They seem to have hit a home run with the signing of cornerback James Bradberry, who looks like the steal of the 2020 offseason.

The term "elite" is often thrown around too much. Whether it's media overreactions or P.J. Fleck using it every other word, it has lost some of its power. However, Bradberry has truly put together an elite season.

Bradberry has forced 14 incompletions this season, which is the most among cornerbacks. However, his accomplishments do not stop there.

The Giants cornerback has allowed only 55.4 percent of the targets his way to be completed. He has totaled three interceptions and opposing quarterbacks only have a 68.2 passer rating when targeting him. Bradberry also does not gamble too often, with him not allowing a pass over 28 yards all season.

He has been a massive improvement for this Giants defense, which is sneaky good. If the offense can avoid putting them in poor situations, this is a unit that can make plays to win a game, largely thanks to Bradberry.
