The Cincinnati Bengals are improving with each NFL season and fans have a lot to look forward to in 2021. Cincinnati made headlines at the 2021 NFL Draft by selecting dynamic wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase with the No. 5 overall pick to provide a boost on offense.

Well, Chase also reunited with his former college quarterback and now Bengals' starter Joe Burrow. It seems that the chemistry between the two players in already on full display at OTAs.

Bengals News: Ja'Marr Chase-Joe Burrow Chemistry OTAs

It's safe to say Burrow was excited when he learned his team was taking a wide receiver he bonded with while with the LSU Tigers. The two connected on 23 touchdowns during college and built up 2,093 yards together in the passing attack. The Bengals are hoping that Chase can bring that same kind of production to the NFL in his rookie season.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has been impressed by Chase early on as well and said that the 21-year-old wideout is picking everything up really quickly. It certainly helps that Chase is learning a playbook that is similar to his college scheme with even some of the same terminology.

It seems like a bit of a stretch to say that Chase and Burrow know what the other is thinking, but the repetition and familiarity present is definitely a benefit for Cincinnati's offense moving forward. Chase is tied for the eighth-best odds to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award at +1700.

The Bengals will look to exceed expectations in 2021 and have odds set at +450 to make the playoffs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
