Jack Doyle Fantasy Outlook With T.Y. Hilton Likely Out Makes Him a Top Tight End in Week 14

Jack Doyle's fantasy value was at a season-high last week, following the injury to fellow Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron. Doyle impressed, as expected, and he is in great position to do so against in Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

* Saw a season-high 11 targets
* Ran a season-high 40 routes
* Played over 90% of snaps for the first time all year
• Got a team-high 3 red-zone targets
Now Doyle gets TB defense allowing 4th-most yards and fantasy points per game to TEs.
The Colts love to use the tight end position and without Ebron Doyle soaked up almost all of that tight end usage last week. He set season highs in targets (11), receptions (six) and yards (73), while also finding the end zone. Doyle scored 19.3 fantasy points in PPR scoring, good for TE2 in Week 13, behind only Tyler Higbee.
Doyle should continue to have a high snap count and usage the rest of the way, operating as the lone top tight end option. Week 14 also brings a positive matchup against the Buccaneers.

Tampa has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season, allowing an average of 5.3 catches per game to the position. Doyle should also see an increase of looks with T.Y. Hilton likely out again too.
With the expanded role and favorable matchup, Doyle ranks as TE6 in our Week 14 PPR fantasy football rankings.
