Is LeBron James Playing Tonight? (Latest Injury Updates and News for Lakers vs Jazz on April 4)

The Los Angeles Lakers are back in action Tuesday night as they face the Utah Jazz. One player's status to keep an eye on ahead of tip-off is LeBron James, who is still dealing with a foot injury.
LeBron James Injury Update (4/4/2023)
LeBron is listed as questionable for Tuesday's contest. This has been the norm since he returned from a lengthy absence, but it hasn't stopped him from playing lately. He has a strong chance to play, despite his uncertain status.

James has played in four straight games after missing 13 contests from Feb. 28-March 24. He's been solid, though it's clear he's still working his way back to 100%. The four-time MVP is averaging 20.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists since returning to the lineup.
His scoring has seen an obvious drop-off from his season-long average of 28.8 PPG, but the Lakers have still managed to rattle off three consecutive wins. Now just 0.5 games back of the Golden State Warriors for the No. 6 seed, L.A. has a legitimate chance to avoid the play-in tournament as long as James avoids any setbacks.
LeBron James Fantasy Outlook and Prop Bets Today
LeBron has plenty of prop bets available on April 4. He's listed with totals of 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds. The over (+110) on James' boards makes a lot of sense to target here. He's impressed on the glass despite playing with a hobbled foot, racking up 10 rebounds in two straight games and posted at least 8 in every appearance since his return. Utah will be without stud rookie center Walker Kessler (8.4 RPG) in this one, and potentially Lauri Markkanen (8.6 RPG) as well, which should open up plenty of room in the paint for James to dominate.
James is listed among the top options on the FanDuel DFS slate, checking in with the seventh-most expensive price tag overall ($10,400). He continues to improve as he gets more games under his feet, posting 45.0 and 48.5 fantasy points in his past two outings. After triple-doubling against the lowly Houston Rockets last time out, he has a great chance to replicate that performance with the faltering Jazz on tap.
