The Milwaukee Bucks are back in action on Monday night as they travel to Detroit to face the Pistons at 7 p.m. ET. The Bucks are eagerly awaiting the returns of star players Giannis Antetokounmpo, both of whom have missed time recently with injuries.

Khris Middleton Injury Update (1/23/2023)

Fortunately for Milwaukee, both players are expected back on Monday.

Middleton's absence has been especially lengthy, as he has not played since December 15 due to a knee injury. He's listed as probable for Monday's Eastern Conference clash, however, after missing the Bucks' last 18 games.

Middleton also missed time at the beginning of the year while recovering from offseason wrist surgery and didn't make his season debut until December, so he's only suited up in seven games so far. Between his limited action and long layoff, Milwaukee will likely look to ease him back him and slowly ramp up his minutes as a precaution.

Khris Middleton Fantasy Outlook and Prop Bets Today

Middleton currently doesn't have any prop bets listed on FanDuel Sportsbook's NBA odds. Based on his likely minutes cap and expected rust, however, we'd recommend taking the under on any that do pop up. After all, he's only averaged 11.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game this year and will have to share the court with Giannis.

Middleton is a relatively affordable option on FanDuel's DFS market, where he's priced at $6,900. Again, we recommend staying away from him in his first game back, even with a tempting matchup against Detroit's generous defense. Nobody knows what to expect from Middleton in his first game back, so you're better off seeking a more reliable option at that price point considering that he's only averaged 21.4 fantasy points per game this year.
