The Cleveland Indians have had a solid start to the year, sitting at 39-30. The problem is they play in the same division as the Chicago White Sox, who have had a fantastic start to the season and hold a 2.5-game lead on Cleveland in the AL Central.
Cleveland's star third basemen Jose Ramirez has missed the last two games with a bruised left foot, but luckily for the Indians, he is expected to be back in the lineup on Monday night.
Ramirez has had a great start to the season, hitting .269 with 16 home runs and 44 RBIs in 68 games so far. Getting Ramirez back in the lineup is paramount for this team trying to keep pace in the division.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest MLB odds, Cleveland has +450 odds to win the division, trailing only the White Sox (+145). There's still plenty of time for Cleveland to make up ground, but doing it without Ramirez would be exponentially more difficult.
