The Indianapolis Colts were looking like one of the league's best feel-good stories earlier in the year, starting off with a 5-2 record in the wake of Andrew Luck's surprise retirement during the preseason. Since then, a number of key injuries have caused them to stumble through a 1-4 stretch, which currently has them at +650 to make the playoffs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Colts' most recent loss, a 31-17 home defeat against the Tennessee Titans, dropped them to third in the division and two games behind the Houston Texans. While the division is still in reach, the Colts' best chance may be earning a Wild Card berth, as they are just one game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers and Titans. However, a tough schedule awaits with road games against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Indianapolis is 2-3 on the road this season, losing its last two away games by close margins to the Steelers (26-24) and Texans (20-17). The loss to the Steelers could prove to be a crucial one as a potential Wild Card tiebreaker between the two teams.

The Colts need to get back to winning in a hurry, and will be in a much better position to do so if Marlon Mack and TY Hilton can return to the lineup. Indianapolis is 5-1 when both players have been active this season, and 1-5 when at least one of the two was inactive.
