The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are sitting just two games away from a Super Bowl berth, thanks in part to some stellar quarterback play from Tom Brady.

While Brady has already led his new team to an impressive 11-5 regular-season finish and a playoff win over the Washington Football Team, the road only continues to get harder from here on out.

The next obstacle is a road trip to New Orleans for a matchup with Drew Brees and the Saints in the Superdome – a team that has already swept Brady and the Bucs on the year. And unfortunately for Brady and Tampa Bay, their performance against similar opponents this season doesn't lead to much optimism about Sunday night's impending result either.

That's right, in the five games when facing top-10 defenses per FootballOutsiders' DVOA metric, the Buccaneers have struggled immensely, dropping four of those games to the loss column and failing to cover the spread in all five of them.

Perhaps, most important is recognizing that two of those five opponents are the Saints themselves, who currently rank as the No. 2 overall defense in that same DVOA metric.

Considering the Bucs are already 3-point road underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, they're going to need all the help they can get with the likes of this key stat, especially from Tom Brady at quarterback.
