The return of The Masters in 2021 has been a fun one, bringing no shortage of excitement through three rounds.

The finish may not end up going down to the wire, however, with Hideki Matsuyama favored to win The Masters by a pretty big margin according to odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.

With that being said, it's only natural that golf fans want to know about Matsuyama's past Masters performances.

Hideki Matsuyama had never won The Masters heading into the 2021 tournament. His previous best finish was 5th in 2015, which was also his only top-10 finish.

He has made 10 appearances (including 2021) since his debut in 2011, and most recently finished T13 in 2020, when he shot eight under.

Matsuyama's lowest single-round score at The Masters was the 65 he shot on Saturday this year.

Hideki Matsuyama had never won a major heading into The Masters in 2021. His best previous finishes in majors were 5th at The Masters (2015), T6 at The Open Championship (2013), T4 at the PGA Championship (2016) and T2 at the U.S. Open (2017).
