The New York Giants signed Kenny Golladay to a four-year, $72 million deal this past offseason in hopes that he could be the No. 1 wide receiver the team has been searching for. His tenure with Giants hasn't started off too well as he suffered an apparent leg injury during training camp.

Kenny Golladay Injury Update

Video from the Giants' practice showed Golladay holding the back of his left leg following the conclusion of a passing play on Tuesday morning. The four-year pro immediately headed to the sideline before eventually going inside the team's facility to undergo further evaluation from the trainers.

The Giants have yet to say anything about Golladay's status, which could be seen as a good thing or a bad thing. Leg injuries can be tricky and it will be important to see how significant this one is. Golladay would benefit from quick return as he attempts to build a connection with quarterback Daniel Jones.

Golladay's 2020 season was full of injuries with the Detroit Lions as he only played in 5 games with the team racking up 338 yards and 2 touchdowns. Overall, the 27-year-old already has two 1,000-yard season under his belt and averages an impressive 16.8 yards per reception in his career.

This is a situation to keep an eye on as Golladay's condition moving forward will play a key factor in how this offense operates heading into the regular season. The Giants currently have odds set at +230 to make the playoffs in 2021, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
