Here's What the Giants Could Offer in a Juan Soto Trade

Over the last week, a large portion of MLB trade rumors has focused on superstar Juan Soto after rejecting a $440 million megadeal from the Washington Nationals. Unsurprisingly, this has led to many clubs calling the Nationals about his availability, with the San Francisco Giants being one potential team in the hunt.
MLB.com has looked at seven potential Soto deals, including one proposed by Giants insider Sarah Langs. It's going to take a major haul to land someone of the 23-year-old's caliber, hence why Langs has San Francisco sending multiple top prospects in the Nationals' direction.

Giants Trade Rumors
In Langs' proposal, she has the Giants sending No. 9-ranked MLB prospect Marco Luciano, Kyle Harrison (No. 25) and Luis Matos (No. 65) to Washington. She also has San Francisco moving the No. 5 prospect in its system, Heliot Ramos, as well as MLB right-handed pitcher Logan Webb.
Of the five names involved in this theorized trade, Luciano's is obviously the most notable. The 20-year-old Dominican shortstop has eight home runs and 17 RBIs in 40 games with High-A Eugene this season and has been displaying tremendous work in the infield as well.
Matos and Ramos are both solid prospects that could play key roles in the Nationals' outfield down the line. Meanwhile, Webb is only 25 years old and is under team control until the end of the 2025 season. He's 9-3 with a 2.83 ERA in 19 starts this season and could be someone that Washington relies on as the rebuild continues.
Regardless, the AL West is a tight division and the Giants need some help separating themselves from their rivals. Not only would acquiring Soto help them in the present, but he'd also ensure that they remain a threat for years to come.
Giants World Series Odds
As it stands, the Giants currently own the 16th-best odds (+6000) to win the 2022 World Series on FanDuel Sportsbook. Considering how those are far from favorable odds, it'd be wise for San Francisco to add a difference-maker like Soto if possible.
