The New York Giants have a couple terrific, young offensive players that they can build their team around, including quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. However, to keep these two healthy and help them reach their full potential, the Giants must improve their offensive line.

There are some terrific offensive tackles in the 2020 NFL Draft. One of the top prospects at the position is Jedrick Wills Jr. from Alabama, who is currently the favorite to be drafted by the Giants, at +110 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Wills takes over that spot, which had previously been held by both Isaiah Simmons and Tristan Wirfs in recent weeks.

Wills is an athletic tackle that can finish in space as well as use his quickness to set up in pass protection. He would be a terrific complement to Barkley, using his athleticism to get up field and make a key block on a linebacker or defensive back. He would also be a perfect pairing for Jones, keeping the young quarterback off the turf.

Jones had an up and down rookie season, with much of the down times being a result of the pass rush. The rookie was sacked 38 times last season, which was the ninth-most in the league. However, he hit this total in just 13 games, meaning he was sacked nearly three times per game.

Limiting the pass rush on Jones will allow him to find the receiving weapons he does have. It would also allow Barkley to go out for passes more often instead of being a sixth blocker, which will only give this offense another layer of difficulty to defend.
