Giants Confirm Starting QB for Sunday's Game Against Eagles

The New York Giants' quarterback situation is a mess. No matter where you fall in the "is Daniel Jones the answer" conversation, it's hard to enjoy watching a football game with Mike Glennon as your starting QB.
That's why Giants fans are probably going to enjoy the latest update from Adam Schefter on Sunday morning. Jake Fromm will get the start against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Is Jake Fromm going to be good? Honestly, probably not. But we know that Glennon won't be. He's thrown 7 interceptions to 3 touchdowns while completing only 53.5% of his passes this year, averaging an almost unfathomably low 3.2 adjusted yards per pass attempt (AY/A). And considering his career average of 5.8 over 38 games dating all the way back to 2013, there's no reason to expect him to improve.
Fromm has only thrown 12 passes in his NFL career, but that at least makes his start intriguing. A three-year starter at Georgia, he threw for 8,224 yards with 78 touchdowns to 18 interceptions in college.
And of course, Fromm flopping wouldn't be all that bad. A couple more losses and the Giants may find themselves with two top-five picks in the 2022 NFL Draft.
