Gerald Everett missed practice for the Los Angeles Rams on both Wednesday and Thursday, calling his status into question for a Week 13 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

That could provide a huge boost to Tyler Higbee's fantasy outlook, making him one of the week's top streaming tight end options.

This has been a breakout season for Everett, and he has notched double-digit targets in three of the last six games. He played just 14 snaps against the Chicago Bears in Week 11 and 17 against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12 (down from 52 in Week 10), and it would be no surprise to see his knee injury keep him on the shelf this week.

Higbee played 70 percent of the Rams' snaps in each of those last two games, and he stepped up with five receptions on six targets last week. He doesn't offer the same upside as a healthy Everett, but he stands to see no shortage of playing time, which should translate to serious production against Arizona.

The league's worst defense against the tight end position, allow the league's fifth-most targets (8.6) per game to the position, and they've allowed those looks to translate to an average of 6.5 receptions, 79.2 yards and 1.1 touchdowns per game. That has them allowing more fantasy production to TEs than any other team.

Any starting TE is going to bring some fantasy value in this matchup, and Higbee is no exception.

Accounting for Everett sitting out, Higbee sits at TE9 in our Week 13 PPR fantasy football rankings, making him an outstanding streaming option if you need a starter for the week.
