Adding on to that, Georgia is listed as the -325 moneyline favorite, while Michigan's odds rest at +250.
It isn't too shocking to see the Bulldogs as the overwhelming favorite after cruising to a 12-0 record before dropping to Alabama in the SEC Championship game. Georgia held the top spot in the CFP rankings since Week 10 of the regular season while Michigan climbed from their initial No. 7 ranking in the initial poll.
Michigan vs Georgia Odds
This will be just the third all-time head-to-head meetings between these two college football powerhouse programs. The all-time series is tied at 1-1 apiece and the last meeting dates all the way back to 1965.
Georgia has appeared in one previous College Football Playoff field since the first edition of the semifinals in 2015, and Michigan is making its inaugural CFP trip in 2021.
The 2021 College Football Playoff Orange Bowl Semifinal game will take place on Friday, Dec. 31 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL at 7:30 p.m. EST.
