Georgia Football's Returning Starters for 2020 Season Make for Intriguing Potential Behind Transfer QB Jamie Newman

Despite losing their second straight SEC Championship matchup with the West, the Georgia Bulldogs still had an incredibly successful 2019 season by most college football programs' standards. They finished the year 11-3, capping it off with a convincing win over the Baylor Bears in the Sugar Bowl.
However, replacing talent lost to the NFL Draft has become one of the biggest concerns for this program on an annual basis. The Bulldogs lost two first-round talents from the offensive line between Andrew Thomas and Isaiah Wilson, along with an early second-round RB in D'Andre Swift.

Overall, the Bulldogs' 10 returning starters between both sides of the ball leave them with the third-fewest among all SEC programs heading into the 2020 season.
However, the addition of graduate transfer QB Jamie Newman (from Wake Forest), should help kick things into gear much faster with the 2020 new-look Bulldogs.
