The Green Bay Packers struggled with wide receiver depth in 2019. Behind superstar Davante Adams, no Packers player had more than 477 receiving yards.

The team tried to help address that problem by signing veteran Devin Funchess this offseason, but Funchess has now decided to opt out of the 2020 season, leaving the Packers in the same spot they were to start the offseason.

With that in mind, here are the top remaining free agent wide receivers that the Packers can target.

3. Paul Richardson

Paul Richardson has really struggled with injuries over the last two seasons, playing just a combined 17 games. He has proven himself to be a very dangerous downfield threat when he is healthy, however. Dating back to 2015 (his sophomore NFL season), Richardson has averaged 13.5 yards per reception, which would have ranked top 50 in the NFL in 2019.

2. Taylor Gabriel

Another player who was banged up last year, Taylor Gabriel has a better track record of health than Richardson, having played 16 games in both 2017 and 2018. He's never been a high-volume receiver, but he's another big-play threat, having averaged north of 15 yards per reception on 35-plus catches twice in his six NFL seasons.

1. Demaryius Thomas

It looked like Demaryius Thomas' NFL career may have been over when he tore his Achilles tendon in 2018 and was released during final roster cuts before the season. He ended up being re-signed and was eventually traded to the New York Jets, however, and he showed he still has plenty left in the tank. Thomas had at least 4 receptions in five of his final 10 games, with at least 40 yards in six of the 10. With an upgrade from Sam Darnold to Aaron Rodgers throwing him passes, Thomas could still be a very productive player in Green Bay.
