There's no question as to what the biggest conversation is around the Philadelphia Eagles right now — the brewing quarterback controversy between Carson Wentz and rookie Jalen Hurts.

Former star eagles cornerback Asante Samuel weighed in on the conversation, and he has a clear stance on this one.

Samuel knows a thing or two about turnovers. He led the NFL in interceptions twice — including once with the Eagles in 2009. He racked up 51 picks and 3 fumble recoveries over his NFL career, scoring 7 defensive touchdowns.

It's not just Wentz' turnovers that have Samuel calling for his benching, however.

It's all about the W. It's all about winning. It's all about production. If we have to bite a big cap loss, give away a lot of money and we think we got to move forward to make our team better, that's what I think you definitely have to do.

Hurts didn't wow anyone when he took snaps in relief of Wentz in Week 13, completing just 5 of his 12 pass attempts, but he did notch 1 TD with 1 interception while adding 29 yards rushing.

Wentz has thrown just 16 touchdowns to a league-high 15 interceptions on the year, and he's also been sacked a league-worst 50 times.

The Eagles have not committed to either passes for their Week 14 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, and they are 7-point underdogs according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
