The Washington Commanders have known one ownership group in the 21st century, but that could be coming to a change soon. Dan Snyder, owner of the team since 1999, announced Wednesday that he and co-CEO Tanya Snyder hired Bank of America Securities to "consider potential transactions."

Bloomberg reporter Kamaron Leach revealed Bryon Allen plans to make a bid. A former comedian, Allen is the head of a media company called Entertainment Studios. He was previously linked to the purchase of the Denver Broncos, a team sold to the Walton-Penner family ownership group in June.
