Fantasy Golf Picks This Week for the 2020 Safeway Open at Silverado Resort

PGA Fantasy Picks
After last week's TOUR Championship saw the PGA Tour crown Dustin Johnson as the FedExCup champion and recipient of a $15 million prize, we now turn our attention to this weekend's 2020 Safeway Open and a much lighter field.
With that in mind, let's take a look at three players to consider when putting together your fantasy lineup.

Brendan Steele:
Brendan Steele hasn't been overly impressive of late, but he has won this tournament twice before on this course. He won in back-to-back years in 2017 and 2018. He did make the cut the past two years, but in arguably the weakest field we have seen all season, Steele could turn the clock back and raise this trophy once again at a course he clearly knows well. His No. 16 rank in Strokes Gained (SG): Approach The Green should pay dividends here too.
Joel Dahmen:
Joel Dahmen might not be a name everyone knows, but compared to the rest of this field, he has been playing really well of late. In his last four starts, he has three top-20 finishes and one top-10 finish. He's only made the cut once in his three attempts at Silverado Resort, but with his accurate driver (No. 29 in SG: Off-The-Tee and No. 31 rank in SG: Tee-To-Green), plus his great form coming into the event, he has the makings of a solid pick.

Cameron Davis:
Cameron Davis is another big hitter who could play well at Silverado. He ranks No. 20 on tour in average driving distance and No. 23 in birdie average. He also ranks No. 41 in Greens in Regulation (GIR). In his last four starts, he has three top-30 finishes and two top-15 finishes, including a T-12 at the 3M Open. In 2019 he finished no. 17 at this event. If he can keep his driver under control and maintain that distance, he should put himself in plenty of great positions throughout the week.
