With the PGA Tour heading to the famed Riviera Country Club this week for the Genesis Invitational, the golf world usually circles this event on the calendar. We have already seen the course info and the odds, but now let's take a look at some golfers to consider when putting together your fantasy team this week.

Fantasy Golf Picks This Week

Dustin Johnson:
There is good reason Dustin Johnson is the favorite heading into this event. He has absolutely dominated at Riviera. Over his last 12 starts here, Johnson has eight top-10 finishes and six top-five finishes, which includes a win in 2017 at this event. Johnson is also coming in playing fantastic golf. He won his last start, the Saudi Open on the European Tour, and also placed T-11 and won in his last two events in America. Additionally, Johnson ranks No. 1 on tour in Strokes Gained (SG): Approach The Green, No. 2 in SG: Tee-To-Green and No. 3 in SG: Total.

Xander Schauffele:
Aside from Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele is in the conversation for being in the best form on tour right now. Schauffele is coming off back-to-back T-2 finishes. In fact, in his seven starts this season, Schauffele has never finished worse than T-17, but that also includes five top-5 finishes and three top-two finishes. He has placed 9th, 15th and 23rd in his three career starts at this event. He also ranks No. 5 in SG: Putting, No. 5 in SG: Tee-To-Green and No. 2 SG: Total.

Jordan Spieth:
Don't look now, but Jordan Spieth may be on his way back after a couple years of struggles. He comes into this event off a T-4 and T-3 finish in his last two tournaments, respectively. While he hasn't played well the last two years at this event, that lines up with his past struggles. He did however land a ninth-place finish in this event in 2018. If Spieth truly has his groove back, this could be the week he graces the top of the leaderboard, not just the top-five.
