Fantasy football scoring is highly variable on a week-by-week basis. Even the top producers rarely come up big in every single game, making it important not to overreact to one or two poor showings.

Here are four players that were Week 7 fantasy football busts that should still prove to be startable options in Week 8.

1. Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets

Robby Anderson only had one reception for 10 yards last week, but that was against an absurdly dominant New England Patriots defense. His eight targets matched his season high, and he's now seen seven, eight and eight in his three games with Sam Darnold at the helm. A deep threat with a huge 17.1-yard average depth of target in those three games, Anderson's fantasy production will always be volatile, but his upside remains huge.

2. Tevin Coleman, RB, San Francisco 49ers

A deluge in Washington skewed the stats of the entire San Francisco 49ers' offense last week. Tevin Coleman continued to see great volume through, rushing the ball 20 times. He has at least 16 carries in all three of his games since returning from injury, averaging 18.0 with 1.3 receptions per contest. That is RB1-type volume, and that keeps him firmly in play against a Carolina Panthers that has allowed opponents the ninth-most rushing yards per attempt in the NFL.

3. Alshon Jeffery, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

Don't let Alshon Jeffery's two-reception, 38-yard game from Week 7 erase the memory of his 10 receptions, 76 yards and one TD from Week 5. He's seen at least eight targets in three of his last four games since returning from an injury of his own, and in that stretch he's averaged a solid 13.4 fantasy points per game.

4. Tom Brady QB, New England Patriots

One of the few New England Patriots players who didn't post strong fantasy numbers on Monday, Tom Brady had his second lowest score of the season against the New York Jets. That was only the second time all season he has posted fewer than 20 fantasy points though. We can count on a bounce-back performance in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. Brady sits at QB9 in our Week 8 PPR fantasy football rankings.
