Week 10 of head-to-head fantasy baseball is upon us if you haven't made those key adjustments to your roster to stay competitive, now is definitely the time to do so.

Whether they're on a hot streak or have favorable matchups in front of them this week, there are a select few players still available on the waiver wire that should give your fantasy team the production necessary to finish the week in the win column.

With that in mind, here are five players you should consider picking up off the waiver wire for Week 10 of the fantasy baseball season.

1. Howie Kendrick, 1B/2B/3B/OF, Washington Nationals

Howie Kendrick has been swinging the hottest bat in the nation's capital right now and it's not even close. The 35-year-old utility man is batting a robust .556 with two homers and eight RBI across his last 18 at-bats. Available in 58 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, Kendrick is a must-add for anyone in need of a well-rounded bat with great positional flexibility.

2. Addison Russell, 2B/SS, Chicago Cubs

Addison Russell has quietly been putting together an excellent season on the north side of Chicago since he returned from suspension, but he's really kicked things up a notch lately. The embattled middle infielder is batting an even .400 with three homers and four RBI over his last 20 at-bats. Russell is available in 93 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and should be on everyone's fantasy radar this week.

3. Bryan Reynolds, OF, Pittsburgh Pirates

Bryan Reynolds has more than proven that he belongs in the Majors this season, batting .345 with five homers and 17 RBI since being called up at the end of April. Reynolds is available in 77 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, but he's seen his ownership spike by 20 percent in recent days. The 24-year-old rookie should be considered a must-add for anyone in need of a consistent outfield bat.

4. Griffin Canning, SP, Los Angeles Angels

Griffin Canning has been a pleasant surprise for the Angels this year and may have recently established himself as the pitching staff's ace. The 23-year-old rookie is 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA and 15 strikeouts over his last three starts (18 innings pitched). Canning is slated for two starts during Week 10 and is available in 62 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues. He's definitely a must-add if you're in need of an extra start or two.

5. Emilio Pagan, RP, Tampa Bay Rays

The save opportunities have been very few for Emilio Pagan, but he's still been the best arm in Tampa's bullpen this season. The 28-year-old righty owns a microscopic 0.44 ERA and 0.74 WHIP with 29 strikeouts across 18 appearances this year (20 2/3 innings pitched). Pagan is available in 76 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues and can provide excellent value in leagues that use holds as a scoring metric.
