There are a pair of teams in the AFC East going in very opposite directions through two weeks of the 2019 NFL season. The defending champion New England Patriots are 2-0 and are the largest favorites of Week 3, while the Miami Dolphins are 0-2 and take on the Dallas Cowboys as 22.5-point underdogs this weekend.

With so much disparity between these two teams and the rest of the pack – in both directions – FanDuel Sportsbook is now offering team futures prop bets on whether the Patriots will go undefeated during the regular season as well as if the Dolphins will go 0-16.

The Patriots are +1200 to go 16-0 during the 2019 regular season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and its not like this team hasn't done something like this before. It's been 12 years since New England became the first NFL team to go 16-0 during the regular season (once the schedule expanded in 1978). However, they did ultimately lose to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

And the Patriots have a fairly realistic path to going undefeated, in spite of matchups with the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. But, that's also why the odds are what they are.

The Dolphins, meanwhile, are +400 to go winless during the 2019 regular season. Miami has lost its first two games by a staggering 92 combined points while taking on the Ravens and Patriots. The Dolphins are once again massive underdogs in a Week 3 road matchup with the Cowboys, and this could become a trend moving forward.

Going winless in the regular season is actually more common than going undefeated. Most recently, the 2017 Cleveland Browns and the 2008 Detroit Lions each went 0-16.

So if you're willing to wager on perfection or a team going winless, then these could be the prop bets for you.
