The Atlanta Falcons would like to forget about their 4-12-0 performance in 2020 as they prepare for the 2021 NFL season. Nevertheless, that may be easier said than done. After all, the Falcons are in the middle of trade rumors with their star wideout Julio Jones. Assuming that Jones will be gone by the time the new season begins, it remains to be seen how successful they can be with the rest of their wide receivers.

Here's a look at the Falcons' updated WR depth chart for 2021.

Falcons WR Depth Chart 2021

1. Julio Jones

As long as he's on the team, Julio Jones will sit atop of the Falcons' depth chart. After all, he's a five-time All-Pro team member and Pro-Bowler. His 12,896 career receiving yards are the most out of any active NFL player aside from Larry Fitzgerald. Simply put: there aren't a lot of wide receivers like Jones and the Falcons are going to have a hard time replacing his production.

2. Calvin Ridley

Fortunately, even if the Falcons lose Jones, they still have Calvin Ridley on the roster. With Jones drawing a lot of primary coverage, Ridley was able to break out in 2020, finishing with a career-high 1,374 receiving yards while adding 9 touchdowns in the process. He has enough talent and skill to the point where he should remain a viable No. 1 receiver even if Jones is traded.

3. Russell Gage

Russell Gage is a player who's been getting better with each passing season. 2020 was his third year with the Falcons and he managed to finish the campaign with 786 receiving yards and 4 TDs. Quarterbacks also had a 95.6 passer rating when targeting him, which means he could see more targets in 2021.

4. Tajae Sharpe

The Falcons are bringing in 26-year-old Tajae Sharpe to add some WR depth for the 2021 NFL season. Sharpe has previously had stints with the Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings, however, he's never emerged as more than a depth option. Playing in Atlanta this season will give him a good opportunity to show what he can do.

5. Olamide Zaccheaus

Olamide Zaccheaus will be another depth receiver for the Falcons next season. He recorded 274 receiving yards and a touchdown in 11 games with Atlanta last season, with his standout performance being a 103-yard game against the Denver Broncos in Week 9.

6. Frank Darby

7. Christian Blake

8. Cordarrelle Patterson

9. Greg Dortch

10. Chris Rowland

11. Antonio Nunn

12. Juwan Green
