Epicenter currently has 6-5 odds to win the Preakness Stakes in 2022. That has him as the top favorite to win the Preakness Stakes. Epicenter drew the 8th post position for the Preakness Stakes, so he will be starting from the outside in the 9 horse field. 

Epicenter Horse Trainer and Jockey

Epicenter is trained by Steve Asmussen. Asmussen is an excellent trainer and currently the leading North American trainer in wins and a Hall of Fame trainer. He’s a two-time Preakness Stakes winner, although his last win came back in 2009. His most recent Triple Crown win is the 2016 Belmont Stakes.

Epicenter will be jockeyed by Joel Rosario. Rosario is a top jockey, having finished number 1 in earnings in 2021. He has never won the Preakness Stakes, but claims wins in the 2013 Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes in 2014 and 2019.
