Early NFL Odds Have Steelers Poised for Strong Season in 2020

The Pittsburgh Steelers defied the odds last season, putting together an 8-8 campaign despite Ben Roethlisberger being on the sidelines for the majority of the year. Getting Ben back and being led by an elite defense, there's plenty of reason for optimism in Pittsburgh.

The over/under for Pittsburgh's win total in 2020 has also been set at 9.0, suggesting this team should once again be in the playoff hunt.
However, there could be some trouble within the AFC North, as Pittsburgh is favored in just three of its six divisional games. While the Steelers are projected to go 2-0 against the Cincinnati Bengals, they're on even footing with the Cleveland Browns, splitting the series, and they're underdogs in both games against the Baltimore Ravens.
Still, though, these odds are a good sign for Pittsburgh's hopes going forward. With Roethlisberger back at the helm, it looks like Pittsburgh has a chance to once again be a legitimate competitor in the AFC.
