Eagles Playoff Odds Continue Dwindling After Week 14 Upset Loss to Dolphins
By Zach Brunner

The 2019 NFC East is statistically proving one of the worst divisions in league history this season, but someone still has to win it.
That feat will, of course, come with an automatic bid to represent the division in the NFL playoffs, and the Philadelphia Eagles' odds to be that team are noticeably narrowing after their Week 13 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The oddsmakers haven't put much faith into Philadelphia's postseason hopes ahead of Week 14, giving the Eagles -215 odds to miss the playoffs and +160 odds to make them, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. As for the divisional race, the Dallas Cowboys currently boast -195 odds to win the NFC East, sitting well ahead of the Eagles and their +170 odds to come back and steal it from the Cowboys.
Both the Cowboys and Eagles are seemingly doing their best job to give the NFC East title away, with the Cowboys losing three of their last four games and the Eagles losing three straight contests of their own.
The Eagles statistically have an easier schedule ahead of them, with two games against the lowly 2-10 New York Giants, one against the 3-9 Washington Redskins and a critical Week 16 matchup with the 6-6 Cowboys.
How BAD is NFC East?

NOT ONLY can the 5-7 #Eagles still MAKE playoffs but so can the 3-9 Redskins!#Redskins Clinch NFC East with:
1. Eagles BEAT Cowboys
➕
2. Eagles lose other 3 (6-10)
➕
3. Cowboys Lose FINAL 4 (6-10)
➕
4. Redskins Win FINAL 4 (7-9)@6abc pic.twitter.com/meVt5zrWXz
Dallas currently has a one-game lead on Philadelphia, but the Cowboys must face the 6-6 Chicago Bears and the 7-5 Los Angeles Rams over the next two weeks, respectively. After that, Dallas hits the road to face the Eagles in Philly before wrapping up the season against the Redskins in Week 17.
However, should the Eagles achieve the improbable and make the playoffs, they are not projected to do much, as they are currently staring at +3200 odds to win the NFC Championship +6000 odds to win Super Bowl LIV, respectively.
