Eagles Open as Slim Home Underdogs in Week 18 Clash With Playoff Implications

The Philadelphia Eagles punched their ticket to the NFL postseason with their Week 17 victory over the Washington Football Team. Now, the Eagles must turn their attention to the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys, whom they'll face on Saturday in a game that has playoff seeding implications.
Unfortunately, it's shaping up to be an uphill battle for Philadelphia this weekend. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing the Eagles as the slight 4.5-point home underdogs against the Cowboys.

Eagles Playoff Picture
There's a lot that could happen in Week 18 that could dictate exactly what Philadelphia's playoff picture looks like.
The Eagles are currently tied at 9-7 with the San Francisco 49ers, but the latter has the head-to-head tiebreaker. If the Eagles win and the 49ers lose, Philadelphia will take the NFC's No. 6 seed.
The Eagles can also take the No. 6 seed if the 49ers lose to the Los Angeles Rams and the New Orleans Saints defeat the Atlanta Falcons. In that scenario, the Saints would take over as No. 7 regardless of whether Philadelphia wins or loses.
As for who the Eagles will likely meet in the playoffs, there are a few options. The Rams, Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are all possibilities.
With so many scenarios on the board, only time will tell what the Eagles' playoff situation will look like at the end of the week.
