The Philadelphia Eagles have high hopes for their 2020 season. After winning the division last year, albeit at 9-7, they made some big improvements this offseason which should have them trending even higher.

With the acquisition of Darius Slay, the Eagles secondary, which struggled last year, should see a big improvement. One thing that could stop this team from trending upward in 2020 is injuries.

The unfortunate part is the injuries have already started happening in the early parts of training camp. The good news is that they aren't that serious.

Both DL Javon Hargrave and DE Derek Barnett have suffered injuries. A pectoral strain for Hargrave and an ankle sprain for Barnett. Luckily both are projected to be ready by Week 1.

The Eagles defensive line is billed as one of the team's biggest strengths, especially on that side of the ball. Losing major pieces of that for significant time would be a crushing blow. While training camp is important, especially this year with the lack of offseason activity, getting everyone healthy and physically ready for when the games count should be priority No. 1.
