In the Week 4 "Thursday Night Football" game, the Philadelphia Eagles travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Heading into the matchup, the 1-2 Eagles are 4-point underdogs against the undefeated Packers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Looking back at the Eagles' recent performances in the month of September, there are some numbers that could point to a Packers' victory.

The Eagles have struggled in games played in September recently, going 2-8 against the spread (ATS) in their last 10 September games. Philadelphia is notably 0-3 ATS so far this season and lost, 24-20, to the Atlanta Falcons in its lone road game.

Meanwhile, the Packers have gone 5-1 ATS in their last six September games, including 3-0 this season. As 4-point favorites in Lambeau, the trends for both teams certainly suggest that Aaron Rodgers and the Packers could have an edge in tonight's contest.

If these trends hold true, the Eagles could struggle to cover tonight's spread. It certainly doesn't help that Philadelphia will be going against a Green Bay defense that has surrendered just 35 points so far this season, which is the second-best mark in the NFL.
