Most of us don't need an extra reason to play Drew Brees in fantasy, but the future Hall of Famer plays at home this week, making an already great play even better.
In his career, Brees has played 134 games at home and 133 on the road. Over that same span, he has thrown 308 touchdowns at home and 217 on the road. The disparities don't end there, however, as he has 25 more yards per game and .64 more yards per attempt when playing at home. Those stats may not seem huge, but when you take into account Brees' 19 year career, they add up.
Now, in Week 10, Brees gets a porous Atlanta defense that is allowing 31.2 points per game, 30th in the NFL. Given his success at home and the lack of success for the Falcons' defense, it is not unreasonable to expect Brees to outpace his 105.6 QB rating on the season.
There shouldn't be a situation in which you need any encouragement to play Brees, but if that was the case, seeing him lining up at home should be enough to convince you he needs to be in your lineup this week.
