When he was on the field, Tua Tagovailoa had a career year for the Miami Dolphins this year. Unfortunately for him, multiple concussions derailed his season and ultimately cut it short, preventing him from playing in Miami's Wild Card Round loss to the Buffalo Bills.

On Wednesday, the Dolphins got good news as Tagovailoa was finally cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol. While he still won't participate in the Pro Bowl, it is a positive step in his recovery and a good start to his offseason.

Miami is expecting to take the next step in 2023 after a disappointing finish to 2022. As long as he's healthy and doesn't suffer any setbacks, Tua is in line to lead the offense again.

The key for the Dolphins will be ensuring they do whatever they can to protect their young quarterback and have a solid backup plan in place in case his concussion issues persist.
