Tua Tagovailoa had a breakout season in 2022, when he was healthy and on the field. Unfortunately, he dealt with multiple concussions this year that limited him to just 13 starts.
Tua Tagovailoa Concussion Protocol Update
Multiple concussions is always a scary thing, especially that close to one another. Now, as he was set to play in this year's Pro Bowl, that won't be happening because the Dolphins QB still remains in concussion protocol.

He was named a first alternate for the AFC but I’m told it’s been a deliberate progression through protocol — not result of any setbackhttps://t.co/4mMpa97PI1
Tua was named as an alternate in the Pro Bowl after putting up career highs in yards, touchdowns and passer rating this year, but he will now skip it. The silver lining is that it seems it was an intentional progression within the protocol, rather than a true setback for medical reasons.
Concussions are nothing to mess with, and if Tua hopes to have a long and prosperous career, skipping out on the Pro Bowl seems like an obvious step this offseason.
