DJ Chark Injury Update Makes Him a Boom or Bust Fantasy Option in Week 6

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver DJ Chark is expected to play this Sunday, but he will have to look good in his pregame workout to do so. Chark was limited in practice on Friday as he deals with an ankle injury, but it looks like he is trying to give it a go on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
Jaguars’ WR D.J. Chark, listed as questionable for Sunday with an ankle injury, is likely to play against the Lions, but Jacksonville first wants him to test him pregame before making any final decisions, per source.

DJ Chark Injury Update
It's never super convincing for a player's status for the game to be determined in the moments before it starts. Even if Chark plays, he could be used in a limited role or as a decoy since he isn't 100 percent healthy yet.
It's also possible Chark plays and has a productive day against a Lions' defense that ranks No. 30 in the NFL in yards per completion allowed at 11.7. However, Chark has already been inactive for one game this season back in Week 3, so no one is ruling out the possibility of him simply being inactive again this week.
This is definitely a situation to monitor all the way up until kickoff. If Chark is active, he is a risky WR2 or FLEX start and has boom-or-bust potential written all over him. In the games he has played, Chark has been able to be productive and scored three touchdowns already this season.
Chark checks in as the No. 16 wide receiver in our Week 6 fantasy football rankings. If he is declared active, plug him into your starting lineup, but make sure to have backup options in case there is a last minute change in his status.
