It didn't look good when wide receiver DJ Chark went down during the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 4 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. The fourth-year pro was carted off the field and it has now been reported that he suffered a fractured ankle. Chark is set to miss significant time this season.

Chark will likely take on his WR1 role upon his return and is worth stashing in an IR spot. For now, Jacksonville will have to call upon Laviska Shenault and Marvin Jones to pick up the slack. This obviously causes their fantasy outlooks to receive a bit of a boost.

Laviska Shenault Fantasy Outlook

Shenault has been shining in a jack-of-all-trades role for this offense. His rushing capabilities definitely come in handy, but all eyes turn to his receiving skills now. Chark saw 32 targets in 3 games played, which means there is an opportunity for Shenault to take on a bigger role here.

Keep in mind that the 22-year-old posted a season-high 99 receiving yards in Week 4 while Chark was not on the field. A 52-yard pass from rookie Trevor Lawrence to Shenualt ended up being the highlight of the night for the Jaguars. If he can develop into a true deep threat, Shenault has the potential to be an every week starter at the FLEX spot.

Marvin Jones Fantasy Outlook

Jones was already averaging 9.3 targets per game before he fell by the way side in Week 4 posting 3 receptions for 24 yards. While the absence of Chark benefits Shenault more, Jones has almost no competition behind him now. He should have no trouble continuing to be peppered with targets.

The 10th-year pro has played in at least 88% of the offensive snaps in each of the first four games. It's clear that head coach Urban Meyer trusts what Jones brings to the table. Jones' touchdown upside in this offense will keep his WR3 status strong heading into Week 5 and beyond.
