Dallas Cowboys great Dez Bryant has never been shy about saying what's on his mind, especially when it has to do with Jerry Jones and the Cowboys organization.

We saw that again on Sunday when Bryant called out Jones and the franchise shortly after Dak Prescott suffered a gruesome ankle injury, saying they need to take care of the star quarterback if his injury prevents him from being the same player again.

Not many NFL teams have a good track record of taking care of former players, whether they were injured or simply retired. It's disappointingly rare to see a team do more than simply the absolute minimum that they're contractually obligated to do.

Dez wants to make sure that, were the worst to happen and Dak's broken ankle cuts short his promising career, that isn't what the Cowboys do in this situation.

Of course, football fans everywhere have their fingers crossed that Dak overcomes this injury and is back on the field playing at an All-Pro level as quickly as possible. But after the contract issues Prescott and the Cowboys faced this offseason, Bryant wants to make sure his friend is taken care of.
