The Charlotte Hornets have been playing extremely shorthanded recently, and they’ll be thin once again on Friday against the Brooklyn Nets.

Hornets Injury News

LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward remain out of the lineup with injuries, and Devonte’ Graham will join them on the sidelines with a quad injury. Malik Monk is also sidelined with an ankle injury, while P.J. Washington is doubtful after missing the past two games with a sprained ankle. If that wasn’t enough, Bradley Wanamaker has also been downgraded to questionable with an ankle injury.

That doesn’t leave the Hornets with a ton of healthy options at the moment.

Expect Terry Rozier to command a monster workload against Brooklyn. He played 43.2 minutes in his last contest, and he ultimately finished with 54.4 FanDuel points. Jalen McDaniels and Miles Bridges should also continue to play as many minutes as they can handle, while Caleb Martin could replace Graham in the starting lineup. All three players are viable targets on Friday’s DFS slate.

This game also holds some importance for the Hornets in the Eastern Conference standings. They’ve fallen to the No. 8 seed in the conference, but they’re just 1.0 game behind the sixth-place New York Knicks.

The difference between No. 6 and No. 8 is massive this season since only the top six seeds are guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
