Houston Texan's starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is rumored to want out of town and it is possible he is on the move this offseason. If that is the case, a multitude of NFL teams would be interested in trading for the young and talented playmaker.
Deshaun Watson Most Likely Trade Destination Odds
Odds have become set as to where Watson will end up playing next season. According to the opening odds from FanDuel Sportsbook (the bet is only available for users in Colorado so far), it remains likely he will still be a Texan as Houston leads the way with +120 odds followed closely behind by the New York Jets at +220.
The Jets are always looking to improve and the team's current starter Sam Darnold is constantly surrounded by questions regarding his gameplay and motivation. Other notable teams with odds include the Miami Dolphins (+550), the Denver Broncos (+1000), the New England Patriots (+1000), and the Washington Football Team (+1000).
It's no secret that a majority of these teams have not solidified the quarterback position for the years to come and trading for Watson would change all of that. The 25-year-old quarterback is already a 3x Pro-Bowler and is coming off of a season in which he led the NFL with 4,823 passing yards.
This upcoming offseason will be dominated by quarterback rumors as multiple signal callers could be on the move. However, a trade involving Watson could top them all as it wouldn't be surprising to see the future of any one franchise completely altered by acquiring him.
