After exploding in the first game of the season, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Desean Jackson is set to return for their Week 9 matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Jackson's return not only improves his fantasy outlook, but also likely helps the rest of Philly's offense.

In his only appearance for the Eagles this season, Jackson caught eight passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns against the Washington Redskins. He showed his patented speed and a strong chemistry with starting quarterback Carson Wentz.

The Eagles quarterback threw for 313 yards in Week 1, a total that he hasn't reached since, as Wentz has only topped 300 yards in one other game this season.

Before he was able to record a catch in Week 2, however, Jackson exited the game with an abdomen injury and hasn't been back since. This has left a gaping hole in the Eagles' vertical attack.

Jackson figures to once again be heavily involved in Philadelphia's passing game, but he draws a really tough matchup against a Chicago defense that's allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts in 2019.

Having not played since Week 1, Jackson is certainly a risky fantasy play. Given what he did in his lone performance of the season though, Jackson has the chance to put up another massive game in Week 9, and his return should give Wentz's fantasy outlook a boost.
