Through the first three weeks, veteran tight end Delanie Walker has been the most consistent receiving weapon for the Tennessee Titans. He has totaled at least four catches in each game, but his status for the upcoming Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons is cloudy after missing back-to-back practices with a knee issue this week.

The back-to-back missed practices typically strikes fear into the heart of fantasy owners, with their player likely to miss the week. However, as Walker has gotten older, we have seen him managed in a similar way before.

In a previous interview, the tight end has noted how he would only practice on Fridays back in 2017 in order to manage his health and get the most out of his body. This situation looks to be a similar story, but we should have a more definitive outlook on this situation after seeing the Titans' practice report on Friday.

If Walker is to miss this weekend, it would likely come as a blow to Marcus Mariota, as he does not have many reliable receivers as it is. In Walker's potential absence, Titans' TE Jonnu Smith would likely get the start and see a bit more targets, but he wouldn't vault to Walker's fantasy value.

Assuming Walker is active, fantasy owners should consider playing him the same as they would any other week. Walker is currently ranked as the TE6 in Week 4 in our PPR fantasy rankings.
