Deebo Samuel Fantasy Outlook Improves Following Emmanuel Sanders Injury Update

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders left their "Monday Night Football" game against the Seattle Seahawks with a rib injury. With him being listed day-to-day heading into Week 11, Deebo Samuel's fantasy outlook is on the rise.

Sanders played just 24 snaps in Week 10 before leaving with a rib injury that kept him on the sidelines for the rest of the game. He is highly questionable for Week 11, with him not being able to practice on Wednesday.
Jimmy Garoppolo saw an instant connection with Sanders, after he was traded to San Francisco from Denver. Him leaving the game meant targets needed to go somewhere, especially with George Kittle inactive. This is where Samuel stepped up.
The second-round rookie put up career-highs across the board. He saw 11 targets, catching eight of them for 112 yards, all season-highs.

Should Sanders miss Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals, Samuel could be in for a great game in a positive matchup. Arizona surrenders 286.5 passing yards per game, which is the second most in the league. Additionally, the Cardinals have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers so far this season.
If Sanders is able to play, he is ranked as WR12 in our Week 11 PPR rankings. Samuel is ranked as WR36 with Sanders active, and would see a sizable improvement should he sit out.
