Deebo Samuel Fantasy Outlook Improves Ahead of NFC Divisional Round Game Against Vikings

Deebo Samuel has been one of the most impressive rookie wide receivers in the NFL this season, instantly becoming one of the San Francisco 49ers' most dynamic weapons.
As the season has progressed, his workload has only grown larger, and the 49ers have continued to deploy him in more varied and unique ways. Samuel has been on a roll lately, and he should once again be a solid fantasy option in the NFC Divisional Round against the Minnesota Vikings.

Deebo Samuel Fantasy Outlook
Over the last four weeks, Samuel is averaging 5.5 targets for 3.8 receptions and 59.5 receiving yards per game. He's been a weapon on the ground as well, averaging 2.0 carries for 25.5 rushing yards per game during that same span.
Emmanuel Sanders is averaging 5.8 targets per game during that four-week stretch, so it's clear Samuel has solidified himself as one of the top three options in San Francisco passing attack.
While the Vikings are a tough matchup, ranking No. 7 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA, and No. 9 against the run, Samuel's rushing ability could give him an edge here. Minnesota struggled to contain Taysom Hill last week on gadget plays, surrendering four carries for 50 rushing yards, and Samuel could get some similar opportunities in the running game here.
Love Deebo Samuel today.

But if he’s gonna be 2 or 3 times as owned as Emmanuel Sanders, you know what to do ...
Samuel won't be supplanting George Kittle as the top option in the 49ers' passing attack any time soon, but he should be in line for another decent outing. He checks in at WR6 in our Divisional Round fantasy football rankings.
