Davante Adams Was Ranked Last in the NFL in Receiving 5 Years Ago

Davante Adams, at the very least is one of the three best wide receivers in the NFL, and there's a very strong argument he is the best receiver in the NFL. However, when Adams first came into the league, he was not considered anything close to that. In fact, five years ago, Adams was ranked last in the NFL in receiving.
Sites like numberFire and Pro Football Focus agreed that during his rookie and second seasons, Adams analytics put him at the bottom or very near the bottom in a number of crucial categories. His catch rate was especially a point of interest in these rankings.

Fast forward to today and Adams is one fo the best there is, and part of probably the most lethal QB/WR combo in the NFL with Aaron Rodgers.
Just goes to show that players can show massive improvements and reach the pinnacle of the league no matter how bad the start to their career is.
